Central Employment are hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client, with over 30 years of design expertise, our client inspires customers to transform their homes with creative, quality interiors.
Role Overview
You’ll help to oversee the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational oversight, people management, and collaboration with other departments to ensure quality, accuracy, and team success.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support warehouse operatives on shift
- Deliver daily briefings, manage staff rotas, and plan for holidays/absences
- Mentor team members, resolve workplace issues, and build positive team culture
- Ensure efficient, accurate stock handling across both warehouses
- Coordinate with production to uphold quality standards for all three brands
- Supervise packaging, consumables, and inventory control
- Monitor KPIs including order accuracy, productivity, and safety performance
- Enforce health and safety procedures and complete routine inspections
- Oversee PPE adherence, incident reporting, and emergency response
- Maintain accurate safety documentation
- Perform manual warehouse tasks, including packing and stock movement
- Safely operate counterbalance forklifts (training and certification available)
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Experience
- Warehouse supervision or leadership experience
- Confident with Microsoft Office and Windows-based platforms
- Willingness to train on Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Android WMS devices
- Forklift experience (or willingness to train)
