Overview
Central Employment are working with a growing independent full-service Digital Marketing Agency, recruiting a client-facing SEO Account Manager to operate from the Teesside office three days a week.
You’ll be the key contact for a portfolio of clients, managing their SEO strategies from start to finish. You’ll combine your technical SEO know-how with creative content skills to drive organic growth, deliver outstanding campaigns, and build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage SEO accounts and campaigns for a variety of clients, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
- Carry out technical SEO audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page optimisation.
- Write high-quality, SEO-friendly copy for websites, landing pages, and blog articles.
- Optimise website content and structure to improve rankings and user experience.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies, including Digital PR outreach.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and provide regular reports to clients.
Essential skills & experience
- Proven experience in SEO account management within an agency or in-house, ideally 3+ years within Search Marketing
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, site structure, and optimisation best practices
- Excellent copywriting skills for web pages, blogs, and landing pages
- Experience with keyword research, on-page SEO, and content strategy
- Competent in using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
- Strong communication skills and client relationship management experience
