Central are excited to be partnering with a multi national manufacturing business serving the trade market as they strengthen their team across the UK.
The organisation has excellent brand recognition across industry and works across a number of consumer and business to business areas. This role will manage trade customers across the North West of the UK and would suit an individual with desire to progress in a relationship driven and structured sales environment.
Customers range from regional independents to national trade customers and adaptability to a broad customer base is key.
Key responsibilities include:-
•Sales Growth through Trade Showrooms
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Showroom Managers to drive product knowledge, brand presence, and sales.
•Implement in-store training, promotional activities, and merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales conversions.
•Track and analyse showroom performance data to identify growth opportunities, optimize sales efforts, and report findings to leadership.
•Driving OTC/RMI Sales Growth across the Region. Develop and execute regional sales strategies and initiatives to increase OTC (Over-the-Counter) sales in line with company goals.
•Conduct regular business reviews and performance analysis to measure progress, adjusting tactics as needed to ensure growth targets are met.
•Collaborate with National & Key Account Managers
•Account Manage and Develop Sales via Trade Customers. Establish and grow relationships with trade customers, focusing on long-term account development and loyalty.
•Identify customer needs and create Account Plans to meet those needs and grow sales.
•Developing and Executing a Structured Call Plan Develop and adhere to a structured call plan, ensuring consistent touchpoints with all accounts in the region.
•Maximize field time to build customer relationships, gather market intelligence, and maintain a visible presence across all designated accounts.
•Document all customer interactions and follow up on agreed actions to ensure satisfaction and account retention.
Your knowledge and capability:-
Customer Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain customer trust and loyalty.
•Planning & Execution: Strong ability to develop and execute account and call plans, with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals. Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent organisation skills.
•Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in analysing sales performance data and market trends to make informed decisions.
•Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed to meet with clients and support sales activities.
