We're actively hiring a commercially driven and customer centric Sales Development Manager to join an established and expanding Newcastle based Manufacturing and Distribution organisation.

Salary: ~£35,000-£40,000 DOE + 1/4 bonus and monthly new business sales bonus, based on performance.

Location: Newcastle office based with potential regional and national travel.

  • Identify, pursue, and convert new commercial opportunities across Construction and Automotive markets.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with contractors, distributors, OEMs, and end‑users.
  • Provide informed guidance on product selection, performance characteristics, and application suitability.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates to support business planning.
  • Work closely with technical, sales and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Industrial Sales Background with proven success in new business development.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial tapes, adhesives, sealants, or related engineered materials.
  • Established network or experience selling into the Construction industry.
  • Comfortable in a hybrid role combining office‑based planning with frequent client‑facing activity.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North East and wider UK as required.
