Are you an experienced Civils Project Manager looking to take ownership of major civil engineering projects from inception through to completion?
We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join a growing contractor delivering a diverse range of civil engineering works across the North East. This is an exciting opportunity to lead projects, manage site teams, and play a key role in the continued growth of a successful business.
The Role
As a Civils Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of one or more projects, overseeing operational, commercial, programme and health & safety performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Projects will include:
- Roads & Sewers
- Building & Infrastructure Works
- Reinforced Concrete Structures
- Earthworks
Key Responsibilities
- Full project responsibility from planning through to completion
- Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Monitoring commercial performance and project costs
- Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality
- Liaising with clients, consultants and key stakeholders
- Producing progress reports and project updates
- Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
About You
We're looking for an ambitious and proactive professional with strong leadership and communication skills who is keen to progress their career within an established and growing organisation.
- Strong background in roads & sewers, RC works, earthworks and industrial civils
- Valid and in-date CSCS/CPCS Card
- SMSTS Qualification
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and project management capability
