Business Development Manager in Newcastle upon Tyne

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to grow our presence within the healthcare technology sector. This is a home based role covering the North of England and Scotland, focused on winning new business and strengthening existing relationships. There will be travel around the areas so you will need to have a Full Driving Licence.

What you will do

• Develop new opportunities and manage existing accounts
• Deliver product demonstrations, surveys and quotations
• Achieve sales targets and maintain healthy margins
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order and project delivery
• Attend meetings with partners, local authorities, housing providers and contractors
• Represent the business at industry events
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service

What you will bring

• Experience within TECS or direct engagement with local housing authorities
• Knowledge of assisted living, grouped living or telecare technology
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Good organisation with the ability to manage several priorities at once
• Commercial awareness and effective negotiation skills
• A positive, self driven approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Home based in the North of England or Scotland
