You will supervise the dispatch team, maintain high standards of accuracy and quality, and ensure orders leave the site correctly and on time. Half of your role will be hands on, supporting picking, packing, loading and courier preparation. You will also act as the key link between dispatch, production, customer service, and external delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the dispatch team and support daily workflow.
- Pick, pack, and complete final checks before orders leave site.
- Liaise with courier and pallet partners and monitor service levels.
- Track dispatch performance including accuracy, damages, and cut-off times.
- Handle courier queries, lost items, and damage claims.
- Manage packaging materials and accessory stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant dispatch area.
- Communicate issues to production and operations teams.
