Central Employment are delighted to be working in partnership with one of the North East's most established digital, design and marketing agency, as they strengthen their digital performance function, hiring a client facing SEO Manager, focusing on technical, onsite, content optimisation and client growth. County Durham based, hybrid working, 3 days in office Β£40,000 DOE + benefits.
Youβll work closely with the wider digital, content, design and development teams to ensure SEO is considered across every stage of a clientβs digital activity, from website builds and migrations to ongoing content and campaign planning. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping organic growth for clients while continuing to develop your skills across technical SEO, analytics, content strategy and performance reporting.
SEO Manager responsibilities:- Develop and manage SEO strategies for a range of client accounts
- Carry out keyword research and identify opportunities to improve search visibility
- Analyse competitor activity and search trends to inform recommendations
- Support content planning with SEO-led insight and topic opportunities
- Make clear, actionable recommendations to improve organic rankings, traffic and conversions
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits across client websites
- Identify and resolve crawlability, indexation, sitemap and site performance issues
- Support improvements to Core Web Vitals, mobile usability and overall site speed
- Review site structure, internal linking and URL architecture
- Work closely with developers to ensure technical SEO recommendations are implemented effectively
- Support website launches, redirects and migration checks from an SEO perspective
