Central Employment are delighted to be working in partnership with one of the North East's most established digital, design and marketing agency, as they strengthen their Marketing and Business Development function, hiring an ambitious and driven Business Development Executive, reporting into the Business Development Director.

County Durham based, hybrid working after probation period £26,000-£30,000 DOE + commission and excellent staff perks.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, thrives in a fast-paced digital, creative environment and is motivated by the challenge of turning first conversations into long-term partnerships. You'll spend your time researching potential clients, crafting personalised outreach, attending events and building genuine relationships that lead to new opportunities.

  • Identifying new business opportunities across key industries, platforms and networks.
  • Crafting tailored outreach messages and short-form copy that cuts through the noise.
  • Setting up and attending meetings online and in person with full Director support.
  • Attending selected networking events, conferences and local business gatherings to build connections, and grow your personal network.
  • Maintaining an accurate, organised CRM with all lead activity, interactions and follow-ups.
  • Supporting wider marketing activity to fuel campaigns that attract and convert prospects.
  • Sourcing and attending appropriate networking events, exhibitions and opportunities - sometimes alone and sometimes with a Director.
  • Tracking engagement and testing new outreach approaches to improve results.
  • Sharing insights on lead quality, messaging and channel performance.
  • Playing an active role in shaping and improving our business development strategies.

Experience with digital products such as websites, SEO, digital marketing services or sold B2B Tech/software solutions, ideally 2+ yrs.

A background in solution selling.

A consultative approach to new business opportunities.

Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.

Confidence using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo or similar prospecting tools.

Ability to write sharp, engaging outreach copy.
