Central Employment are working with a leading and now global Leisure, outdoor equipment and clothing organisation, as they look to recruit a commercially focused B2B Trade Account Manager. Newcastle based x 3 days a week Up to £37,000 DOE + benefits.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven B2B Trade Account Manager to support and grow their B2B partnerships across key markets. This role will be responsible for managing key retail and distribution accounts, driving revenue growth, and strengthening long-term partnerships. Working closely with internal teams including sales, supply chain, and product, the Account Manager will play a key role in delivering excellent customer experience while identifying new opportunities for expansion. In a fast-paced, high-growth environment, the successful candidate must be both strategic and hands-on, with a strong understanding of wholesale/B2B operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop relationships with key retail and distribution partners
  • Drive sales growth across existing accounts through range expansion, promotions and forecasting
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within existing and new markets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Lead account planning, including forecasting, budgeting and sales performance tracking
  • Analyse sales data and performance to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities
  • Support pricing, promotions and commercial negotiations with partners
  • Deliver regular business reviews with key customers
  • Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Liaise with product and marketing teams to support new product launches
  • Ensure clear communication across internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee order management, forecasting and inventory planning for key accounts
  • Monitor and resolve any customer issues, ensuring a high level of service
  • Support onboarding of new partners and product listings
  • Maintain accurate account records and reporting
  • Identify opportunities to expand distribution channels and product categories
  • Support entry into new markets and retail partnerships
  • Represent the business in meetings, trade shows and customer presentations
Person Specification
  • Proven experience in Account/Partnership Management within a wholesale/B2B environment
  • Experience working with retail partners (DIY, leisure, or consumer goods preferred)
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and reporting tools
  • Proactive, self-motivated and results-driven
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach
