Central Employment are working with a leading Technology provider, as they look to expand their in-house marketing function, appoint a B2B Content Strategy Lead. We’re seeking a commercially driven B2B Digital Content Strategy Lead to own and deliver a high-impact content strategy within a fast-paced technology environment. This is a pivotal role focused on creating and optimising content across the full marketing funnel—driving awareness, engagement, and conversion across key B2B audiences. You’ll lead the development of insight-led content programmes, thought leadership, and messaging frameworks that directly support demand generation and revenue growth, working closely with digital, paid media, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B content strategy aligned to commercial goals and customer journeys
    • Own the end-to-end content roadmap across awareness, consideration, and conversion stages
    • Build scalable content frameworks that support product, campaign, and brand initiatives
    • Create compelling, insight-driven thought leadership that positions the business as a market authority
    • Lead the development of campaign content, including whitepapers, case studies, landing pages, blogs, and email nurture programmes
    • Establish clear, consistent messaging frameworks across all channels and touchpoints
  • Performance & Optimisation
    • Leverage SEO insights, keyword research, and audience data to inform content creation and optimisation
    • Monitor, analyse, and report on content performance using digital analytics tools
    • Continuously refine content strategy based on performance data to improve engagement, conversion, and ROI
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with paid media, digital, and demand generation teams to deliver fully integrated campaigns
    • Align content with media strategies to maximise reach and conversion efficiency
    • Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and leadership teams to ensure messaging supports commercial priorities
  • Content Governance & Best Practice
    • Establish best practices in content creation, SEO, and digital storytelling
    • Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and brand positioning across all outputs
    • Manage external agencies or freelancers where required

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a B2B content strategy or content marketing leadership role, ideally within the technology sector
  • Demonstrated success in creating high-performing content across the full marketing funnel
  • Strong experience in developing: Thought leadership programmes, Campaign content strategies, Messaging and positioning frameworks
  • Solid understanding of SEO, content optimisation techniques, and performance analytics
  • Experience working closely with paid media, digital marketing, or demand generation teams within an integrated campaign environment
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable content improvements
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
