Site Administration and Communications Apprenticeship
POSITION: Site Administration and Communications Apprenticeship – 18 months
LOCATION: Cramlington (UK)
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17.00 (includes 6 hours training)
We have an amazing opportunity for a Site Administration and Communications Apprentice at one of our clients in Cramlington.
This role will be varied and fast-paced, providing professional support to the site leadership team.
We want a candidate who will have excellent communication skills and a friendly and professional manner and is willing to engage with different stakeholders to undertake both forward facing reception duties as well as administrative and communication tasks.
Your mission:
- Welcome internal and external visitors, ensuring that all requirements for access to the site are met.
- Effectively manage the administration of the site.
- Prepare & distribute incoming and outgoing post.
- Assist with document management in line with GDPR regulations – scanning, filing and archiving of information.
- Assist with travel, meeting and site event arrangements.
- Support with the administration and facilitation of onsite initiatives manufacturing appreciation month, International Women’s Day, PRIDE etc.
- Liaise with local schools and drive volunteering initiatives.
- Act as a Personal Assistant to the Plant Manager.
- Work with the Plant Leadership Team to support administration needs.
- Ensure site communication tools are utilised and updated in line with corporate strategy and protocols.
- Administration of site continuous improvement ideas system.
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Profile:
- Excellent communication and ability to communicate across multiple levels across the organisation, including global and European plants.
- Ability to deal with information accurately and promptly
- Creative, problem-solving skills and a resourceful approach to achieving practical solutions to issues
- Organisational skills with proficient attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer literate in spreadsheets and documents
- Ability to work independently with a positive collaborative approach
- Flexible initiator with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
