Central Employment are working with UK & European specialist manufacturer & Distributor based in the North East, as they look for a Senior eCommerce Executive.
This would be a new, standalone opportunity to develop, scale an eCommerce strategy for additional online sales and repeat customer revenue.
- FT, onsite role to collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams.

Role and responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive sales and growth across Amazon and Direct-to-Consumer websites.
- Increase traffic, conversion rates, and overall return on investment (ROI).
- Take a hands-on approach to website development, ensuring that Direct-to-Consumer websites are user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for maximum performance.
- Implement best practices in website design, navigation, and user experience to enhance customer engagement and boost sales.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify opportunities for improvement and implement necessary changes to drive website performance.
- Manage and execute social media advertising campaigns across various platforms, with a focus on maximizing brand awareness and driving targeted traffic to there e-commerce channels.
- Sound working knowledge of other e-commerce tools such as Shopify plus, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, SEM Rush, Glew etc.
- Commercial knowledge of Email Marketing solutions such as Klayvio
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Java Script.
- Possess a solid grasp of SEO principles and the capability to actively engage in their implementation as the team continues to expand.
Experience required:
- 3+ yrs of experience managing or running a high-performance eCommerce sites, ideally Shopify/Shopify Plus
- Strong background in managing paid ads across Amazon, Google, and meta platforms, with a track record of achieving positive ROI.
- Detailed understanding of eCommerce metrics across CRO, UX and Customer Experience
- Experience with website development and optimization, with proficiency in e-commerce platforms – Shopify Plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
- Willingness to be hands-on when necessary while possessing the vision and ability to lead a growing e-commerce function
