Central Employment is working with a leading North East and now global eCommerce retailer, as they look to appoint a results-driven Digital Marketing Manager to drive further online growth by executing their brand\’s performance marketing strategy.
- Location: Newcastle, 3 days a week
This role focuses on driving customer acquisition and retention through smart, full-funnel digital marketing. You will lead with data, optimise campaigns across multiple platforms, and deliver measurable growth. Performance is at the core, ensuring the best possible return across all digital channels.
Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager:
- Develop and own the digital marketing strategy aligned with brand and business goals
- Manage the digital marketing calendar across paid, owned, and earned media
- Lead digital performance campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and beyond
- Manage budgets and forecasts to deliver cost-effective growth
- Lead A/B testing across creatives, audiences, and landing pages
- Collaborate with agencies, freelancers, and affiliate partners to optimise performance
- Oversee CRM strategy, including segmentation, automation, and execution
- Support campaign reporting and performance dashboards
- Work with the wider team to test and refine creative
- Lead and develop a high-performing digital team
Experience required:
- Approximately 5+ years experience in a retail-focused multi-channel performance marketing role
- Hands-on digital marketer familiar with key platforms
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on ROI, ROAS, and CPA
- Confident decision-maker who leads with data
- Enjoys variety and juggling channels, campaigns, and creative
- Excellent communicator and collaborator with internal teams and external partners
Location and salary details vary by region:
- Glasgow + hybrid // Permanent // Up to £35,000 DOE
- North East // Permanent // Up to £40,000 DOE
- West Yorkshire + hybrid // Permanent // Up to £50,000 DOE
- Newcastle + hybrid // Permanent // Up to £85,000 DOE
