An established heavy engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) to join its Engineering Department. The organisation operates within the steel processing sector, supplying a variety of plate products to major industrial markets.
The successful candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and a proactive "can-do" approach. They will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to ongoing training and development. Key Responsibilities- Carry out maintenance on plant and equipment, including both reactive breakdown work and proactive planned preventative maintenance.
- Support installation, commissioning and upgrades of new and existing equipment.
- Diagnose faults systematically and identify root causes, reporting findings to relevant personnel.
