Conveyancing / Post Completions Assistant
An established legal practice is seeking an experienced Conveyancing / Post Completions Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous conveyancing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate and efficient administrative support.
The Role
Working closely with the residential conveyancing team, you will support the progression of property transactions, with a particular focus on post-completion activities, compliance requirements, and maintaining accurate case records.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing post-completion matters for residential property transactions.
- Preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry.
- Completing SDLT submissions and related documentation.
- Closing files and ensuring all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
- Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to progress transactions.
- Maintaining and updating case management systems with accurate information.
- Providing administrative support to fee earners across the conveyancing department.
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring files remain fully compliant.
- Delivering a high standard of client service throughout the conveyancing process.
About You
- At least 12 months' experience within a residential conveyancing environment.
- Previous exposure to post-completion work.
- A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
- Professional communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and case management software.
