Position: Packer
Pay: £13-14 per hour
Location: Thirsk
Shift: 8-4 Mon to Fri (days), 2-10 (lates), 10 - 6 (Nights)
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of the manufacturing/packaging process.
- Weigh, pack, and label finished goods for dispatch.
- Perform manual handling tasks, lifting equipment and products up to 25kg.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and hygienic workplace.
- Take responsibility for your work area and good housekeeping.
- Ensure product quality.
- Comply with food safety, food security, quality, HACCP, and allergen regulations.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literate (desired).
- Ability to work accurately and methodically.
- Self motivated with initiative.
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks.
- Effective team working skills.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
