Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Prudhoe.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an Export Coordinator to join their operations team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual with experience in exports, shipping, logistics, supply chain, or international trade.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring goods are shipped efficiently across global markets whilst maintaining compliance with customs and export regulations.

The Role

As an Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing export shipments from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and customers receive an exceptional level of service.

Working closely with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments, you will coordinate international shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure compliance with all relevant customs and export procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments from order receipt through to delivery.
  • Prepare and manage export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping documentation, and certificates of origin.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, customs agents, and shipping providers.
  • Ensure all export activities comply with customs regulations, commodity code requirements, and international trade legislation.
  • Track shipments and provide customers with updates on delivery schedules and shipment status.
  • Obtain competitive transport quotations and work with logistics providers to secure cost-effective shipping solutions.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure materials and products are delivered in line with customer requirements.
  • Resolve shipping, customs, and documentation issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records using company ERP systems and internal databases.
