Central Employment is recruiting Production Operatives for a manufacturing site in Bishop Auckland. You will help produce aerosol products safely and efficiently by running production machinery, completing quality checks, and keeping the work area clean and well organised.

Location: Bishop Auckland

Pay Rate: £12.92 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate production line machinery in line with procedures and safety standards
  • Carry out quality checks and report any non-conformances
  • Follow batch instructions and packaging requirements
  • Support line set‑up, changeovers, and routine cleaning
  • Complete production records accurately and on time
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily output targets
  • Comply with Health & Safety, COSHH, and PPE requirements at all times

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in manufacturing/production (ideally FMCG or chemicals/aerosols)
  • Strong attention to detail with a quality‑first approach
  • Able to follow instructions, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Basic literacy and numeracy
  • Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts, including nights

Shift Pattern:

07:00 am – 03:00 pm (day/back shift and night shift options). Shifts may be rotating or fixed, depending on operational needs.

Pay: £12.92 per hour. Paid weekly. Overtime opportunities available.
