This is a hands-on role within a small, collaborative engineering team, offering the opportunity to play a key part in maintenance, manufacturing engineering, and continuous improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair plant machinery including CNC sewing machines, ultrasonic welders, and spring winders (full training provided)
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective, long-term corrective actions to minimise downtime
  • Lead the introduction and development of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to production
  • Design and produce jigs and fixtures aligned with quality, cost, delivery, safety and customer requirements
  • Source and manage spare parts, materials, and subcontractors in line with operational and cost targets
  • Support health and safety initiatives
