Our client is currently recruiting experienced Thermal Insulation Engineers for an upcoming outage at the Alpek site in Redcar. This is an excellent opportunity to secure short-term shutdown work with the possibility of further ongoing projects.

Location: Alpek Site, Redcar

Rate: £25 per hour

Duration: Starting WC 27/04 for 2 weeks, with potential to extend or lead to further work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Removal and reinstatement of thermal insulation and cladding
  • Insulating pipework, vessels, tanks, and associated equipment
  • Installing metal jacketing (aluminium/stainless steel)
  • Working to outage schedules and site safety procedures
  • Liaising with supervisors and other trades on site

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
  • Valid TICA Card
  • Proven experience as a Thermal Insulation Engineer on industrial or petrochemical sites
  • Ability to work to a high standard under outage conditions
  • Full PPE and strong safety awareness
