The Mid/Senior Designer is the creative and technical lead for their client portfolio. You are responsible for the entire lifecycle of a project – from shaping brand identities and digital strategies to executing the final front‑end build. You’ll focus on creating functional, user‑centric experiences that perform reliably and deliver measurable value to their clients’ businesses. You will act as a strategic partner to clients, translating their business goals into high‑impact design. As a senior creative member of the team, you will also take an active role in mentoring others and improving internal workflows.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Own the evolution of brand identities for a diverse range of clients, ensuring every design is authentic, consistent, and resonates with the target audience.
  • Lead the development of visual communication strategies.
  • Conduct market research and competitor audits to find opportunities for innovation that set clients apart.
  • Oversee project budgets and timelines, ensuring we deliver high‑quality, impactful visual and technical output efficiently.
  • Brand guardianship: Set the standard for brand guidelines, ensuring all work – whether created by you or the wider team – maintains total brand integrity.
  • Conceptualise and build high‑quality assets across all channels. This includes everything from brand systems and marketing materials to responsive, front‑end web development.
  • Design and build intuitive UX/UI experiences. Be responsible for the technical implementation of these designs, ensuring they are pixel‑perfect and functional.
  • Use data and performance metrics (like engagement and conversion rates) to identify what’s working and what isn’t. Proactively optimise designs to improve ROI for clients.
  • Clearly present design performance and technical results to clients, demonstrating the direct value our creative work brings to their business.
  • Strategic partnership: Serve as the lead creative contact for your client portfolio, building trust through expert advice and a deep understanding of their business goals.
  • Confidently present complex design concepts and technical builds to stakeholders, ensuring they understand the 'why' behind the work.
  • Manage the revision process professionally, balancing client feedback with creative best practices to reach the best possible outcome.
  • Guide and mentor junior designers and developers. Foster a culture of learning by sharing best practices, conducting design reviews, and helping the team level up their skills.
  • Work closely with copywriters, marketers, and developers to ensure projects are cohesive and meet all strategic objectives.
  • Identify ways to improve how we work, from better design‑to‑dev handoffs to adopting new tools that make the team more efficient.
  • Stay at the forefront of design trends, front‑end technologies, and software (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Maintain a deep understanding of clients' industries to ensure our work remains relevant and competitive.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in brand strategy, digital design (UX/UI), and front‑end execution.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is essential. Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or modern front‑end frameworks is a significant plus.
