Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy waste management and recycling operation based in Darlington.

This is a full-time opportunity offering consistent work, weekly pay, overtime opportunities and a weekly bonus scheme.

Duties Include

  • Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips and RORO containers across the North East
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
  • Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
  • Completing delivery paperwork and site documentation
  • Following site procedures when loading and unloading
  • Maintaining high standards of vehicle care and cleanliness

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous HGV driving experience
  • Experience with skip, RORO or grab vehicles would be advantageous
  • Good knowledge of roads across the North East
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Must have HIAB/lever experience

Hours

  • Monday to Friday 7am-5pm
  • 40 hours per week plus overtime
  • Saturday mornings available on a rota basis
