Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy waste management and recycling operation based in Darlington.
This is a full-time opportunity offering consistent work, weekly pay, overtime opportunities and a weekly bonus scheme.
Duties Include
- Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips and RORO containers across the North East
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely
- Completing delivery paperwork and site documentation
- Following site procedures when loading and unloading
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle care and cleanliness
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV driving experience
- Experience with skip, RORO or grab vehicles would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of roads across the North East
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Must have HIAB/lever experience
Hours
- Monday to Friday 7am-5pm
- 40 hours per week plus overtime
- Saturday mornings available on a rota basis
