Conveyancing / Post Completions Assistant An established legal practice is seeking an experienced Conveyancing / Post Completions Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous conveyancing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate and efficient administrative support.
The Role Working closely with the residential conveyancing team, you will support the progression of property transactions, with a particular focus on post-completion activities, compliance requirements, and maintaining accurate case records.
Key Responsibilities Managing post-completion matters for residential property transactions.
Preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry.
Completing SDLT submissions and related documentation.
Closing files and ensuring all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to progress transactions.
Maintaining and updating case management systems with accurate information.
Providing administrative support to fee earners across the conveyancing department.
Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
Monitoring deadlines and ensuring files remain fully compliant.
Delivering a high standard of client service throughout the conveyancing process.
About You At least 12 months' experience within a residential conveyancing environment.
Previous exposure to post-completion work.
A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
Professional communication skills and a client-focused approach.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and case management software.
