We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to join my clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to organisational expansion through innovative approaches and effective market analysis. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and experience in leveraging CRM tools to optimise sales processes. Office based in Teesside + some travel £30,0000-£40,000 DOE + bonus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that support business growth.
- Utilise Salesforce and other CRM software to track leads, manage pipelines, and analyse sales data.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and industry functions to expand the organisation's reach.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to meet organisational goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales roles (3+ yrs ideally), preferably within digital marketing, technology or SaaS.
