Job Description
Central are proud to be partnering with a Global manufacturer of consumer products for the construction market, as they look to recruit a Trade Marketing Specialist.Working closely with the Marketing Director, wider local and central marketing teams, you will be responsible for activating the Global and UK & Ireland marketing strategy. You'll be the central point for activating centrally driven marketing activities and delivering them to the UK market in the trade channel. You'll make sure that the local UK market gets the appropriate coverage and that centrally driven campaigns are adapted to suit the needs of our teams and customers.This role would suit a candidate with experience in developing global product for UK customers and operating as a key influencer in a complex matrix structure.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with Group Brand & Activation to apply and leverage Global Marketing Campaigns & initiatives as relevant to the UK trade channel — implementing, driving the success and reporting progress and activity back into Marketing Director & Group colleaguesExecute NPI launches.
Working with Group Brand & Activation and relevant Local Product Manager to implement launch strategyFeed into group brand & activation local requirements for initiatives and campaignsAdapt & translate centrally provided materials to execute group initiativesCreate local price list and relevant documentsCollect requirements for POS and customer-specific materialsProvide support to the local sales teams to meet company targets through local country and customer campaigns, promotions, initiativesParticipate in customer reviews to collect understanding, insight & intelligence and feedback from periodical structured interviews and field visit with local salesManagement of customer data lists through SFDC system and external data sourcesPlanning, management and execution of local eventsEngage and manage relationships with marketing agencies, print, event and exhibition suppliers and organisersSpecific Skills/Experience:The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment within construction, KBB or a related industry.Experience of working in a large organisation with Group & Local Marketing structure would also be highly beneficial.Strong understanding of the full marketing mix, platforms and channelsProject management skillsBudget ManagementStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsEvidence of creative flairThe behaviour set is as important as the practical skills with this role.
