We are partnering with a leading Professional Services organisation to recruit a Marketing Manager. With a strong reputation in the market, the business delivers high-quality advisory and consulting services to a diverse client base. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the delivery and execution of the marketing plan with a focus on brand, digital, design, events, sponsorships, tenders, and internal and external communications. You will work in a project manager capacity to execute targeted and impactful marketing activity. This is a broad, hands-on role ideal for someone with 3-5 years' experience in a B2B marketing, PR, or communications environment, particularly within a professional or corporate setting, joining with line management exposure.
Key Responsibilities:- Working alongside the Commercial Director and Heads of Department to develop a marketing strategy, implement the plan and review on a regular basis.
- Supporting the department heads with the development of departmental marketing and business development plans and keeping track of their success.
- Develop brand awareness and identity in conjunction with a dedicated external brand consultant.
- Managing and reporting on the marketing budget.
- Management of client data and future strategic CRM planning.
- Having oversight of the firms' website and social media channels including coordinating the commissioning of content for the website.
- Coordinating the commissioning and creation of content for the firm's digital marketing channels.
- Manage the PR function in conjunction with the Marketing and Communications Executive including the coordination of communications and media relations.
- Advertising, planning and relationship building with the media, overseeing the activity with a dedicated Digital Marketing Executive.
- Having oversight of corporate events and hospitality.
- Organising and representing the firm at exhibitions, seminars and networking events.
- Manage tender opportunities.
- Manage client and market research projects.
- Internal marketing - cross selling and knowledge sharing and support in connection with internal initiatives to support staff engagement.
- Manage internal communications.
- Regularly monitoring the effectiveness of the marketing strategy.
- Providing monthly marketing updates to the Management Team.
This is the ideal role for a candidate with circa 3-5 years experience of working at Marketing Manager level within the professional services industry. Should be familiar with all aspects of marketing and communications. A working knowledge of privacy and data protection laws. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. The ability to work collaboratively on a number of projects, effectively managing priorities and delegating as appropriate. Excellent people skills demonstrating strong teamwork capacity and ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels. Act as a mentor in order to develop the marketing team.
