Central Employment are delighted to be assisting a leading business with the recruitment of Accountant on an 18 month fixed term basis. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will take ownership of monthly reporting, preparation of statutory accounts and some ad hoc financial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts, in particular detailed P&L statements.
- Prepare annual statutory accounts for review.
- Provide ad hoc financial help, including for a sales team with opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Prepare accurate and timely month-end reports in line with Sofina deadlines, including accruals and prepayments.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring reconciling items are cleared promptly.
About You
- Experience with statutory accounts and management accounts.
- Ideally minimum part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and confident working with financial systems.
- ERP experience Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP.
