The Finance Business Partner will play a key role within the finance function, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and analysing financial reports to support effective business decisions.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and wider financial planning cycles.
- Reviewing financial performance and identifying trends, working closely with departmental leads.
- Analysing variances against plans and forecasts, and recommending corrective actions.
- Supporting scenario planning and evaluating financial outcomes under varying business conditions.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Enhancing financial systems and processes, including automation of reporting.
- Developing dashboards and visual tools to provide timely insights to key stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to financial procedures and internal controls.
- Providing ad-hoc support to the finance team, including audit-related requirements.
Skills / Attributes / Experience:
- Ideally a qualified accountant (or working towards qualification).
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to partner with non-finance teams and senior stakeholders.
