Quality Technician – Electronics
Location: Cramlington
Salary: £32,000 – £35,500 (Including Shift Allowance) DOE
Shifts: 2 Shift, Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm
About the Role:

We are seeking a Quality Technician with an electrical background to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement of electrical components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and experience working with electrical testing, inspection, and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections and testing on electrical components, wiring, and assemblies.
  • Identify faults, defects, and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Conduct electrical testing and verification using industry-standard tools and equipment.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and problem-solving for quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, industry regulations, and internal quality procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and quality reports for audits and compliance.
  • Train and support colleagues on quality processes and best practices.

What We\’re Looking For:

  • Electrical background – Experience in electrical testing, wiring, or component assembly.
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance or quality control role.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and industry regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience with testing equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
