Central Employment are working in partnership with a fast-growing digital marketing agency based in Newcastle, as they look to appoint a PPC Executive. We're looking for a hands-on PPC Specialist to take ownership of our paid search activity. Working closely with our PPC Lead, you'll be the person actually inside the accounts every day - making the adjustments, testing the copy, and finding the wins.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day performance across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Amazon Advertising. We need someone who genuinely enjoys digging into the data to figure out why a campaign is underperforming and, more importantly, how to fix it.
Your Responsibilities:- You'll build and launch Search, Display, and PMax campaigns from scratch - handling everything from keyword mining and ad copy to sophisticated bid strategies.
- You'll be looking at the data daily to identify opportunities for A/B testing, landing page improvements, and audience refinements.
- You'll be responsible for the "health" of the accounts. This means maintaining high Quality Scores, troubleshooting ad disapprovals, and leveraging tools like Google Ads Scripts and automated bidding.
- You'll ensure our presence on Bing and Amazon is optimised and aligned with our wider search strategy (e.g., managing ACoS on Amazon and audience targeting on Microsoft).
- We need more than just a spreadsheet of numbers. You'll use Google Analytics and platform data to tell the story of why things are happening and what we should do next.
- You'll support the PPC Lead in stakeholder updates, acting as the technical "go-to" for the specific accounts you manage.
- 2+ years of hands-on PPC experience (ideally in an agency environment).
- You must be Google Ads certified and comfortable navigating the interface. Experience with Bing and Amazon is a definite plus, but Google is the priority.
- You have a solid grasp of Google Analytics and can find your way around a pivot table in Excel/Google Sheets.
- You'll be managing budgets and brand guidelines; we need someone who double-checks the small things before hitting "Live."
- The search landscape changes weekly. You should be the type of person who stays on top of algorithm updates because you actually find them interesting.
