Central Employment are working with an expanding Performance Marketing and Creative Agency in Newcastle, as they look to recruit a Mid-Senior Designer. Hybrid working, 3 days in the office (Newcastle), 2 days from home - after probation. Up to £35,000 DOE & quality of portfolio.
As a Designer specialising in multimedia, you'll have the opportunity to lead the charge in shaping the visual identity of clients' creative portfolios, from renowned brands to emerging challenger brands across the UK.
Key duties of Mid-Senior Designer:- Lead the development and evolution of brand identities for clients, ensuring consistency, authenticity, and resonance across all touchpoints.
- Conceptualise and design intuitive, user-centric digital experiences that drive engagement, conversions, and brand loyalty.
- Provide strategic creative direction to cross-functional teams, guiding projects from concept to execution while maintaining a high standard of quality and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with fellow designers, copywriters, developers, and marketers to bring ideas to life.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
- A solid portfolio showcasing expertise in digital, motion design, and creative direction, with 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or other relevant design tools.
- Strong UX/UI focus both in a working and portfolio capacity.
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing.
- A keen understanding of brand positioning, consumer behaviour, and digital marketing principles, allowing you to design with purpose and impact.
