The Role

This full-time, permanent position offers the chance to work on a wide range of engineering machinery — from new installations to repairs and upgrades on a variety of makes and models. The role is hands-on, varied, and ideal for an engineer who enjoys both workshop and field-based responsibilities.

Working both independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team, the successful candidate will handle:

  • Diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of industrial machinery
  • Machinery installations, removals, and upgrades
  • Site visits across the North West, with occasional national travel (typically 2 nights away/month)

The Candidate

The ideal engineer will bring:

  • A strong mechanical background (electrical knowledge a bonus)
  • At least 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering
  • A clean or near-clean UK driving licence
  • Solid computer literacy and communication skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility
