The Role
This full-time, permanent position offers the chance to work on a wide range of engineering machinery — from new installations to repairs and upgrades on a variety of makes and models. The role is hands-on, varied, and ideal for an engineer who enjoys both workshop and field-based responsibilities.
Working both independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team, the successful candidate will handle:
- Diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of industrial machinery
- Machinery installations, removals, and upgrades
- Site visits across the North West, with occasional national travel (typically 2 nights away/month)
The Candidate
The ideal engineer will bring:
- A strong mechanical background (electrical knowledge a bonus)
- At least 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering
- A clean or near-clean UK driving licence
- Solid computer literacy and communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility
