Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Northumberland, UK Department: Engineering Shift Pattern: Continental shift pattern – 12-hour shifts rotating days and nights Salary: £50,793.68 – £57,528.97 , inclusive of shift allowance, DOE An established manufacturing organisation in Northumberland is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its Engineering team. This is a site-based, hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving electrical systems that support a high-performance manufacturing operation. The Role The successful candidate will provide electrical engineering support to ensure production equipment, facilities, and services are maintained to a high standard. Working closely with engineering, production, and project teams, the role plays a key part in equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment Diagnose and repair electrical faults on manufacturing machinery and support equipment Perform calibration, validation, and corrective adjustments on devices such as load cells and temperature controllers Provide engineering support to production to improve machine output and resolve process issues Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment Work alongside the on-site project team to develop new or improved electrical control systems Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS Ensure full compliance with health
