A leading UK food manufacturing business is seeking two Quality & Compliance Co-ordinators to join its bakery operations across two sites in Greater Manchester. These roles are site-based at Bolton (BL1) and BL2, supporting high-volume production environments with a strong focus on food safety, quality, and compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with food manufacturing experience looking to progress into a structured technical role, with further training and career development available.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct product reviews to ensure quality and specification compliance
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints
- Support incident management relating to ingredients and packaging
- Maintain and manage Bills of Materials, ensuring recipe accuracy
- Control and maintain documentation in line with audit requirements
- Promote and uphold high Health & Safety standards, escalating issues where required
- Work cross-functionally with production, operations, and technical teams
- Complete administrative tasks including compliance checks and documentation reviews
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- 8:00am start (flexibility for earlier starts where required)
- Occasional weekend work (rare, typically linked to product launches)
- Fully site-based role – candidates must be able to travel to site
- Experience within food manufacturing, ideally within quality or technical functions
- Understanding of food safety and quality systems
- Strong IT skills, with experience using databases and documentation systems
- High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
- Confident communication skills with strong English proficiency
- Food Safety certification
- Level 3 HACCP
