Central Employment are working exclusively with an award-winning North East based Performance Marketing agency, as they look to appoint a Content Creation Lead, with the opportunity to develop and build out a new and exciting service offering. Teesside based hybrid working options £45,000-£50,000 DOE benefits.
We are looking for a Creative Content Lead to drive the creation of high-quality digital content across video, photography, and graphics/animation for a diverse range of clients. This is a hands-on role, focused on producing performance-driven creative that supports digital marketing campaigns across platforms including YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Display Networks. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to develop creative ideas, identify content opportunities, and produce content that delivers results across the various platforms.
Responsibilities of the Content Creation Lead:
- Plan, shoot, and edit video and photography content
- Create graphics and simple animations for digital campaigns
- Deliver high-quality, platform-optimised content
- Ensure all outputs align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Develop creative concepts based on client briefs, brand, and budget
- Recommend appropriate production approaches (from high-end shoots to low-cost/AI solutions)
- Identify content gaps and opportunities across new and existing clients
- Adapt creative output to suit different platforms and audience behaviours
- Work closely with Social Media, PPC, SEO, client success team and internal marketing teams
- Contribute to integrated campaign planning
- Ensure content is designed to perform across multiple digital channels
- Liaise directly with clients to understand content needs and objectives
- Present ideas, concepts, and final outputs confidently
- Support pitches and proposals with creative input
- Plan and deliver content within agreed budgets and timelines
- Select appropriate production methods based on client investment level
- Manage shoots (location, equipment, logistics where required)
- Build and maintain a network of digital content creators/freelance creators to support delivery
- Use AI tools, animation, and creative approaches to deliver content at varying budget levels
- Produce effective low-cost content where needed (AI, UGC-style, lightweight production)
- Balance quality, efficiency, and commercial viability
- Build and maintain a strong showreel and content portfolio
- Support new business efforts by showcasing creative capabilities
- Contribute to pitch work with ideas and example outputs
Essential experience:
- Strong experience in video production and editing
- Good working knowledge of photography and lighting
- Experience creating content for digital marketing channels (YouTube, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok etc)
- Ability to produce graphics and/or simple animation
- Experience working with B2C and B2B clients
- Strong understanding of content performance in digital campaigns
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of eCommerce content strategies
- Experience using AI tools for content creation
- Motion design or advanced editing skills
