Central Employment are working with an established and fast growing performance led digital agency, as they look to recruit a results driven Sales Lead joining their commercial team.

Sales Lead profile:

  • To sell a multiple award winning performance marketing service across the UK, Europe and North America, but particularly the UK.
  • Lead a Sales Team and be an integral part of their senior leadership team.

Main responsibilities of the Sales Lead:

  • This is a dual role, owning a personal sales target whilst also leading the sales team to achieve their team and individual targets.
  • Creating and maintaining a positive, can do culture through and across the sales team.
  • Lead the team to generate circa £2m per year in new client fees targeting brands.
  • Creating and delivering a strategic sales plan that targets the sectors they want to be successful in.
  • Working with the Commercial Director to craft the right value proposition for their markets.
  • Proactively managing the personal development and performance of the sales team.
  • Working closely with their internal UK based demand generation team and where applicable external vendors to drive new sales opportunities.
  • Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts to your leadership colleagues so they can ensure we have the necessary people to successfully deliver the right high performance results for new clients.

Essential Experience:

  • They have been successful in a similar role before, have run a small sales team including SDRs and BDMs.
  • A proven track record in B2B solution led sales, ideally within the digital performance and or technology sector.
  • Has a positive, can do attitude and is able to create that culture in their team.
  • Can demonstrate they have worked in partnership with service/product leaders to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Is a problem solver, they can demonstrate how they have overcome sales challenges in their careers with solutions.
