What will you be doing? You'll be working as a dedicated member of our masonry team, helping to create an individual and lasting memory for our families. As a Fixer Mason, you'll manage and carry out all day-to-day masonry production activities to include preparation, completion and fixing of all types of memorials to the highest standards. In this varied role you'll be involved with fixing memorials, grave inscriptions, learning to cut stone as well as other duties as required.
How will I know if I am right for this role? Being NAMM or BRAMM licence would be an advantage, but don't worry this is not essential and full training and support will be provided. As part of this role, you'll be required to drive one of our company vehicles, and you will therefore need to hold a full driving licence. A confident communicator with a passion for detail will see you successful in this role. As a representative of our funeral services within the local community, you'll be comfortable in building good working relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, local clergy, celebrants and doctors. This role will require heavy lifting and a great deal of outdoor work. You'll need to be comfortable working in potential adverse weather conditions.
