This is a great time to join us on our journey, find your greatness as a key member of the team dedicated to supporting and developing our staff to deliver better services to the local community. You will have experience of working in a training environment and developing learning opportunities which support learners at every level in the organisation. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work and respond quickly and positively to changing priorities.
The Workforce Development Adviser will be responsible for analysing the learning needs arising from our corporate programmes and projects. You will also support a wide range of services across our Place and Communities, Resources and Office of the Chief Executive directorates. You will work closely with the Corporate Workforce Development Manager, Workforce Development Trainer, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from service areas and project teams to establish our learning offer and provide advice and guidance to find the right solution.
You will also manage training requests to source cost‑effective solutions which meet the requesters' needs. You will support and review our existing offer including the corporate induction, mandatory learning and management programmes. You will review e‑learning and virtual content via our Success Factors Learning Management system and curate additional content where needed. You will also undertake learning needs analysis reviews and develop learning activities to support these.
To ensure quality assurance, you will collect data and use reports to evaluate the effectiveness of training activities and make recommendations for improvement.
