We are looking to add a full time, permanent Senior Performance Analyst to our Performance Team to lead on interpreting and analysing Children Service's performance data. If your interests and/or experiences lie in handling data and statistical analysis, then this role may be for you.
You will support front line staff that work with some of our most vulnerable children and families, their managers, and senior officers, to ensure that performance and data is recognised as everyone's responsibility. With that in mind, you must be a confident performance professional, with a collaborative, open working style to ensure that the outstanding work of our frontline staff is reflected in our performance.
You will benefit from a varied and stimulating role focused on driving performance and improvement across services. This includes developing and maintaining performance frameworks and dashboards, translating data and intelligence into clear insights for decision-makers, producing written performance and statutory reports, leading on statutory returns, and supporting continuous improvement. You will also be involved in the development and maintenance of national tools used by local authorities, such as ChAT and the Children's Social Care Benchmarking Tool, helping to ensure they effectively support performance management and service improvement.
Your application will need to demonstrate that you are able to support and provide timely, accurate analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative business intelligence necessary for the Directorate to make timely, relevant and strategic decisions for existing and future services and fully support national and local reporting requirements including the Department for Education, Ofsted Inspection regime and Safeguarding Boards.
Knowledge of Children Social Care, SEND or Education statutory collections and the Synergy and Mosaic Database system would be highly desirable.
Our aspiration is to be a truly flexible employer. We welcome discussion on location, hours and working pattern as part of the application process.
You will be expected to demonstrate how you meet the key accountabilities and competencies in this Recruitment Pack.
