We are seeking a passionate and experienced facilitator to join us as Pathways Coordinator. You will play a key role in developing and reshaping out-of-school and Area Led provision across Central Bedfordshire. You will lead on coordination of musical pathways, support ensemble and enrichment activity, and help ensure high-quality, inclusive provision for children and young people across the area.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead out-of-school provision, including Saturday and after-school programmes.
- Support and shape Area Led activities to create inclusive musical pathways.
- Assist Music Centre lead and session leaders to enrich musical opportunities.
- Conduct needs analysis to inform provision for children, young people and communities.
- Collaborate with senior managers to develop and reshape Area Led activity.
- Quality assure provision through observation, feedback and support to tutors.
- Manage activity budgets, including income and expenditure.
- Travel independently across Central Bedfordshire as required.
- Experience in leading musical ensembles or strategic overview of ensembles in a school or community setting.
- Experience in ensemble leadership and/or music facilitation.
- Ability to facilitate CPD and seek training opportunities for ensemble deliverers.
- Strong communication, organisation and partnership-working skills.
- Commitment to Equity, Inclusion and Diversity in education.
- You must have a valid driving license to be considered for this role.
