About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated CQC Registered Manager to lead our Reablement Step Up/Step Down services. These services offer short-term therapy, assessment, and care to help individuals recover and regain independence following a hospital stay or period of illness. Delivered from our short-stay units, Redwood and Evergreen, the program aims to reduce long-term care needs and promote health and wellbeing for our residents.
As a seasoned Registered Manager, you will collaborate closely with health and social care teams and partners across the footprint of Central Bedfordshire. You'll play a key role in leading change and transformation, supporting the development of innovative services that help people return home safely and avoid unnecessary hospital or residential care admissions.
We are a dynamic and responsive team, and we’re looking for someone who is dedicated, proactive, and passionate about high-quality care. The ideal candidate will either hold or be working towards a Health & Social Care NVQ Level 4 or 5 qualification. You must be confident in managing staff and services to ensure compliance with CQC regulations and Safeguarding frameworks, while fostering a culture of strong leadership, learning, and development.
If you are enthusiastic about empowering people, developing teams, and supporting residents to achieve independence, we’d love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference and help ensure Central Bedfordshire remains a great place to live and work.
Please note: a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.
