Location: Tresham College β Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough Campuses
Salary/Benefits: Between Β£33,048 and Β£38,169 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 45 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, Teacherβs pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses. Note β Salary and Annual Leave entitlement is for that of a Qualified Lecturer.

About The Role
We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Computing to join our Computing & Digital Technologies department at The Bedford College Group.
- Teaching & Assessment β Prepare, deliver, and assess computing courses from Level 1 to Level 5, ensuring high-quality and inclusive learning experiences.
- Student Support & Progress β Guide learners to achieve success, monitor performance, provide tutorials, and maintain accurate records.
- Curriculum Development & Innovation β Contribute to schemes of work, create engaging materials, and support new course development aligned with industry trends.
- Quality Assurance & Engagement β Implement quality processes, participate in marketing activities, and liaise with awarding bodies to maintain standards.
- Compliance & College Responsibilities β Uphold safeguarding, EDI, and health & safety requirements; support exams, open days, and College-wide initiatives.
About You
- Essential Qualifications β Degree in computing or relevant industry experience, GCSE English and Maths, valid DBS and visa status.
- Teaching & Quality Experience β Proven experience teaching Level 2β4, knowledge of FE quality assurance systems, and ability to use IT/data for course improvement.
- Core Skills & Competence β Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills; ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Professional Attributes β Ability to influence, lead, and work under pressure; maintain confidentiality, promote College values, and uphold safeguarding and EDI standards.
- Flexibility & Mobility β Willingness to adapt hours, travel across campuses, and maintain health & safety awareness, including risk assessment capability.
