Role: Digital Excellence Coordinator – INTERNAL ONLY

Location: Tresham College – Kettering Campus

Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £25,585 and £30,915 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 27 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, People’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.

Hours/Weeks: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year

Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time

About The Role

  • Digital Innovation & Technology Advocacy: Champion the use of digital technologies across the Group, promoting innovative, creative and responsible adoption of tools that enhance teaching, learning and organisational capability.
  • Training & Skills Development: Design and deliver engaging training, workshops and support sessions for staff and students, focusing on VR, 3D printing, robotics, Microsoft Elevate Educator pathways, Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Technology-Enhanced Learning Support: Work collaboratively with curriculum, learning and teaching, and digital teams to embed digital tools and emerging technologies into teaching, learning, assessment and extracurricular activities.
  • Digital Resources & Continuous Improvement: Develop learning resources and guidance materials, provide one-to-one and group support, and contribute to the evaluation and ongoing improvement of digital and AI initiatives.
  • Collaboration, Compliance & Professional Development: Participate in team activities and training, share best practice, follow Group policies, and actively promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, and continuous professional development.

About You

  • Qualifications & Technical Knowledge: Holds (or is working towards) relevant IT, digital, education or Microsoft/AI qualifications, with strong English and Maths skills and a commitment to continued professional development.
  • Digital Technology & Emerging Tech Experience: Experienced in using digital technologies within education or training environments, including exposure to VR, 3D printing, robotics, and other emerging technologies.
  • Training & Communication Skills: Able to design and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops for staff and students, helping users develop confidence in digital, AI and Microsoft-based tools.
  • Innovation, Adaptability & Collaboration: Demonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to technology, quickly learns new tools, and works effectively with colleagues across teams to drive digital transformation.
  • Professionalism & Flexibility: Passionate about digital innovation, committed to safeguarding and maintaining professional boundaries, and willing to work flexibly across multiple campuses as required.
