About The Role
We are currently seeking a Learning Facilitator to join our Foundation Learning & Additional Learning Support department at The Bedford College Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualifications & Specialist Knowledge: Educated to Level 3 or above with GCSE English and Maths, experience supporting learners with learning difficulties and disabilities, and a strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, and inclusive practice.
- Learning Support & Student Development: Proven ability to deliver study skills, literacy and numeracy support on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping students achieve their learning goals and independence.
- Administrative & Technical Skills: Experienced in maintaining accurate records, managing documentation, using Microsoft Office applications, and supporting educational processes within a busy environment.
- Communication & Teamwork: Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships, work collaboratively, meet deadlines, and contribute to a welcoming and supportive learning environment.
- Safeguarding & Professional Commitment: Committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, promoting equality and diversity, undertaking ongoing professional development, and demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and professionalism across multiple locations.

About The Bedford College Group
The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
