About the Role
- Provide classroom support and deliver English and Maths lessons to GCSE and Functional Skills learners.
- Support SEND and learners with additional needs, including EHCPs, promoting inclusive learning environments.
- Encourage positive behaviour, attendance and participation, supporting learners’ academic progress and personal development.
- Assist with assessment preparation, small‑group or one‑to‑one support, and monitoring learner progress in line with tutor guidance.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, maintain confidentiality and uphold safeguarding, EDI, health & safety and CPD standards.
About You
- GCSEs in English and Maths and a Level 3 qualification in a related subject.
- Experience providing learning support in an educational setting, helping students to understand content and engage in lessons.
- Strong communication, teamwork and basic IT skills to support classroom activities.
- Committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, with a flexible and supportive approach catered to individual learner needs.
- Professional, adaptable and willing to undertake training, working flexibly while meeting safeguarding and DBS requirements.
