About the Role
We are currently seeking an Associate Lecturer in Motorsport to join our Motorsport department at The Bedford College Group.
Responsibilities
- Teaching & Learning Delivery β Plan, deliver, assess, and verify a range of subject specialisms, ensuring lessons meet awarding body standards and individual student needs.
- Student Support & Progress Monitoring β Guide students to success through tailored support, progress tracking, and timely interventions, while maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Curriculum Development & Innovation β Contribute to curriculum design, develop engaging learning materials, and implement vocational opportunities to enhance student experience.
- Quality Assurance & Administration β Participate in course reviews, team meetings, and quality processes, while completing all administrative tasks to required deadlines.
- College Engagement & Compliance β Support marketing events, interviews, and safeguarding responsibilities, while upholding equality, health and safety, and engaging in professional development.
About You
- Qualifications & Industry Experience β Holds or is working towards a Certificate in Education, with GCSEs in English and Maths, and practical experience in the Motorsport industry.
- Teaching & Curriculum Delivery β Skilled in teaching across various Engineering pathways, using multimedia tools and adapting methods to support diverse learners.
- Professionalism & Collaboration β Demonstrates high performance, strong communication, and teamwork skills, while upholding the Collegeβs values and professional standards.
- StudentβCentred Approach β Creates a welcoming, inclusive learning environment, promotes equality and diversity, and supports student success through tailored guidance.
