We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fire protection systems, including installation and maintenance. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards while working closely with clients to meet their fire safety needs.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain fire alarm systems and related equipment.
- Conduct inspections and testing of fire protection systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Install and maintain access control and door entry systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fire alarm systems, CCTV, sensors, and other security systems.
- Provide field service support, including hands-on work with hand tools, power tools, and low voltage cabling.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in fire engineering.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in computer networking and remote access software for system management.
- Experience as a service technician with a focus on security systems, including IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) and surveillance technologies.
- Ability to work with various tools including hand tools, power tools, and cabling equipment.
