An established and nationally recognised sprinkler organisation is seeking an experienced Service Team Lead to play a pivotal role within its Service Department. This is a key management position responsible for leading operational delivery, driving performance, and supporting continued business growth. You will take ownership of the full service lifecycle — from strategic planning through to execution — ensuring that services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with regulatory and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to‑day operations of the Service Department (office and remote teams)
- Oversee service contracts to ensure delivery on time, within budget and in full compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Define scopes of work, allocate resources and manage delivery performance
- Monitor and report on KPIs, driving continuous improvement across the function
- Act with delegated authority on major service contracts
- Ensure full adherence to industry regulations, quality standards and health & safety requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Enable effective cross‑functional collaboration with regional teams
- Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain seamless service delivery
- Contribute to strategic planning and departmental development initiatives
About You
- Proven management experience within a service‑led environment
- Strong background in leading service departments within sectors such as construction, utilities, compliance management or facilities management
- Demonstrable experience managing teams and delivering measurable results
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan long term and respond effectively to operational challenges
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Industry‑recognised certifications or IOSH accreditation desirable but not essential
