We’re seeking a skilled Technical Specialist Engineering Team Leader to support, mentor, and develop a team of Service Engineers. You’ll act as the team’s technical expert while ensuring fire and security systems are compliant, reliable, and delivered to high standards.
Responsibilities
- Support engineers with technical issues via phone or site visits
- Carry out monthly engineer audits and report findings
- Complete minor remedial works during PPM visits
- Provide training, coaching, and set best practice standards
- Mentor trainees and support their development
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify new opportunities
- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety, compliance, and engineering standards
- Attend team meetings and manufacturer training courses
What We’re Looking For
- Strong servicing, diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with software configuration/programming (Simplex, EST, Siemens)
- Knowledge of:
- Fire: EST3, Siemens Cerberus Pro, Notifier, GENT
- VA/PA & EVACS: Baldwin Boxall, Honeywell, TOA, Cameo
- Suppression: Inert, FM200, Water Mist
- RIT Security: IP networks, CCTV, Access Control
